        On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Lowestoft (1960) alongside the fitting out berth of Alexander Stephen & Sons Ltd at Linthouse, Glasgow.  The photographer is in the store between 6 and 8 stations on 4 deck looking aft and to starboard from the port side forward showing steel pigeon holes against the starboard side and a rectangular bin in the corner.  This store is described as the engineer's ready use store on the Admiralty as fitted plan number 902439, sheet 3 of 4, but as the ABCD store in the key on the basic Admiralty plan number 902504 used to indicate the position from which the photograph was taken.
