On board the guided missile destroyer HMS Kent (1961) alongside the Harland & Wolff Ltd fitting out berth in the Musgrave Channel, Belfast. The photographer is in the shipwright's workshop on the port side of 01 deck looking forward and to port showing a workbench with a large vice on the right. A wooden workbench with cupboards and drawers under and fitted with two carpenter's vices is against the forward bulkhead and a rack for large timbers is above this bench. A woodworking machine fitted with a Brook Motors Ltd 'Gryphon' motor is on the left.
