The photographer is in the engineer officer's cabin between 31 and 32½ stations on the port side of 2 deck looking to port and slightly aft from the door showing a wash hand basin on the extreme left. A double pedestal desk with a telephone and a shelf above are against the aft bulkhead. A wardrobe and a chair are against the forward bulkhead. The bunk with drawers under and cupboards above are against the ship's side.
