On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958) alongside the west wall in the basin at Rosyth Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 7 July 1967 and completed 28 January 1970. The photographer is in the hangar between 49 and 57 stations on 1 deck looking to port and up from 52 station showing a filing cabinet with an air conditioning unit above it, stowage for a spare aircraft engine, a pressure controller stowage space , a fuse panel and an high level storage shelf are against the port bulkhead. Shelves are in the port forward corner between the missile hoist and the port bulkhead and a stack of wooden packing cases labelled 'NATO No. 4240/99/520/7399 breathing apparatus self contained compressed air' are on the deck against the missile hoist.
