        On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Berwick (1959) alongside the south wall in No.3 basin at Chatham Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 4 December 1967 and completed 4 June 1971.  The photographer is in the NBCD (nuclear, biological and chemical defence) store) between 64 and 65 stations on the centreline of 3 deck looking to starboard showing shelving against the forward bulkhead.  Dry powder fire extinguishers, three 5 gallon drums of liquid and a stack of material that resembles notebooks are on wooden bases on the deck.  A clothing rail and hangars are under the deckhead.  A vertical format negative.
