The Type 12 frigate HMS Berwick (1959). In the amplifier compartment between 34 and 35¾ stations on the port side of 2 deck.
        
        On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Berwick (1959) alongside the south wall in No.3 basin at Chatham Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 4 December 1967 and completed 4 June 1971.  The photographer is in the amplifier compartment between 34 and 35¾ stations on the port side of 2 deck looking forward and to starboard showing a desk with papers on it, a single pedestal desk with a nest of drawers under and a telephone switchboard on it, anda tubular steel chair.  Above the desks are a centrifugal fan, a type 177 asdic junction box,  five power points and a notice board with bulldog clips of papers on it.  A Huntsman beer calendar for February 1971, a distribution box and a distribution panel are on the starboard bulkhead next to the door.   A vertical format negative.
