A starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Cunard Line cruise ship Franconia (1923) at anchor in an unknown location. She is in Cunard livery with a black hull and white upperworks and her port anchor is deployed. She is dressed overall and is flying the Blue Peter from the starboard yardarm on the foremast. Lifeboats numbers 1 and 17 have been launched and she has an accommodation ladder rigged to her shell doors amidships. A number of local bumboats are gathered at her stern.
