The photographer is in the asdic control room between 41 and 42¾ stations on the starboard side of 1 deck looking forward and to port from the starboard aft corner showing four chairs on the starboard side and three chairs near the aft bulkhead. A range and bearing unit, an asdic Type 177 directing gear unit, a paper roll stowage box and an asdic console are against the port bulkhead. The main starter panel, a playback unit with tape stowage, a telephone handset and control box and a fuse panel are against the forward bulkhead. The senior operator's chair is on a dais in the centre of the room.
