The photographer is in the junior rates mess between 78 and 85 stations on 2 deck looking aft from 78½ station on the port side showing a curtained off area, a letter rack, a greatcoat cupboard and kit lockers on the right.  Greatcoat cupboards, suitcase racks and a mess locker are on the left.  The door to the hydraulic pump compartment in 83½ bulkhead is closed.  A vertical format negative.
