The photographer is in the junior rates mess between 78 and 85 stations on 2 deck looking forward from 84 station on the starboard side showing a triple tier bunk unit and four kit lockers on the left.  A triple tier bunk unit, a suede coat, four kit lockers and suitcase racks are on the right.  The open watertight hatch down to 3 deck and the stairs up to 1 deck are in the left background and kit lockers with a suitcase rack above are in the right background.
