The photographer is in the diesel generator compartment between 61 and 65½ stations on 1 deck looking aft from 62½ station on the port side showing the port Paxman diesel generator, manufactured by English Electric Diesels Limited, on the right.  A small work bench equipped with a vice, numerous gauges and valves, a telephone handset, an acoustic booth and a fire extinguisher are against the gas turbine uptake space bulkhead.  A starter panel and an automatic emergency lantern are against the aft bulkhead.  A vertical format negative.
