The reverse of the negative has been titled at the bottom: '[number cropped] General view of Senglea: from the Marina.' This title matches item 10 in the list that Calvert Jones sent to WHF Talbot in a letter dated 8 July 1846. The negative was part of the large calotype negatives he created in the second series at Malta. [BL, LA46-80].
