A very close-up view the window at the gable end of the Anglican Mission House at Pauline Cove, Herschel Island, looking at a small bird on the timber across the open window. The House was built of timbers intended for building a church in 1916. The mission left in 1919 and the building was used by itinerant missionaries. Now abandoned, it is a nesting place for Black Guillemots.
On 26 July 1996 the Kapitan Dranitsyn (1975) anchored off Pauline Cove near the abandoned whaling settlement on Herschel Island.
