A small Inuit child playing on the floor of the Arts and Community building at Holman, Victoria Island. The shutter has stuck so the top and bottom 2cm are black, which means that only the bottom of the white dress and the decorated moccasins can be seen of the child's mother(?).

On 28 July they were taken to Holman on Victoria Island by helicopter to see local Inuit art and learn about traditional hunting and fishing. Ivy Sharp wrote: 'On landing the 80 or more travellers, we witness a drum dance that has been organised and see local activities such as wood carvers going at full blast because we are as much a novelty to them as they are to us...'
