An informal photograph of the waitresses and chefs on board the ice breaker Kapitan Dranitsyn (1980). Taken from an angle the staff are looking away from the camera to the right. One chef is looking at the camera as the chef next to him is leaning forward. The two waitresses are in red waistcoats and green skirts. The chefs are in white.
On 28 July the passengers were entertained to an Italian dinner. Ivy Sharp wrote: 'We had an Italian dinner tonight and met the staff serving us. They are very charming and I photographed them.'
