The grave stones standing on the foreshore of Beechey Island, Barrow Strait.
A distant port side view just forward of the broadside of the ice breaker Kapitan Dranitsyn (1980) off Beechey Island and Devon Island. The passengers went ashore here to look at the four grave markers - three from crew of the 1845 Northwest Passage Expedition and one from a later search expedition in 1854 looking for Sir John Franklin's expedition.
