A port broadside view of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary oiler Cherryleaf (1916) stopped at sea off the Canary Islands. She is playing the part of the Bremen registered merchant ship Atto (1922) during the spring 1935 fleet manoeuvres. Her raked funnel is fitted with plates to make it look upright and she is flying the German flag at the main. A copy negative of a photographic print.
