The aft flight deck of the Royal Navy aircraft carrier Centaur (1947) as seen from the port bridge wing looking aft and to port. The ship is under way in the Atlantic, west of Gibraltar, during the NATO exercise Riptide III. The Westland Whirlwind HAS.7 helicopter XN297 336/C is on deck with a number of the flight deck crew round it. It first flew in September 1959 and is a unit of 824 Squadron.
