The aft flight deck of the Royal Navy aircraft carrier Centaur (1947) while the ship is under way in the Atlantic, west of Gibraltar, during the NATO exercise Riptide III. The photographer is on the port side of the bridge wing looking aft and to port showing the Westland Whirlwind HAS.7 helicopter serialled XN297 (336/C) parked alongside the island. The French Navy Sikorsky UH-34 helicopter coded 137 A is on deck between the arrester wires and the helicopter coded 122 S is touching down further aft. Both are from the aircraft carrier Clemenceau (1957).
