Passenger vessel; Canoe, Polynesian Outrigger
Baseboard for the model of a Polynesian outrigger canoe made from wood with organic material fittings and decoration. The model is displayed on a pair of tapering turned pillar supports that are fixed to a bevelled rectangular wooden baseboard which is supported by four bun feet. On a paper label applied to the baseboard is "2". On a handwritten metal label is "Polynesian Outrigger Canoe from Niue Island. Lent to the R.N. Museum by Mrs Keppel Taylor."
