On board the nuclear powered passenger/cargo ship Savannah (1962) while under way in the English Channel. The photographer is to port of the centreline at the aft end of the promenade deck looking forward and up showing the glazed screen separating the open area from the veranda lounge and bar with the boat and bridge decks above. The radio aerial spreader mast and the radar mast are above the superstructure and the ship is dressed overall. Wettern sailed on the Savannah (1962) between Dublin, leaving on 6 July and Southampton, arriving 7 July 1964.
