A close port quarter view, taken from wide off the stern, of the stern of the U.S. Navy dock landing ship Lindenwald (1943) at anchor off a hilly coastline in the Mediterranean during the 6th Fleet exercise Steel Link 1. The stern doors are partly open and everything forward of the deck cranes is out of the picture. The photographer is on board the minesweeping launch MSL 7 (1958).
