HMS 'Excellent' gunnery school

Inscribed in pencil verso: "Excellent Gunnery School". The 'Queen Charlotte' was renamed 'Excellent' in 1859 when she became a gunnery training ship. She is the three-decked ship at left.

Signed by artist as "W Cluett": some drawings in the NMM collection signed "Will C Cluett" are probably by the same hand.

Mounted with PAD9433-PAD9434.
