The colonel of 45 Royal Marine Commando and a Norwegian infantry officer consulting a map during the NATO exercise Atlas Express in northern Norway, which lasted from 18 February to 20 March 1976. A Westland Wessex Sea King HAS.1 helicopter of 814 Naval Air Squadron flying from the Royal Navy commando carrier Hermes (1953) is in the background and it has an underslung load.
