Men of 45 Royal Marine Commando during the NATO exercise Atlas Express in northern Norway. The exercise lasted from 18 February to 20 March 1976. They are on skis and have substantial backpacks. One of the men has a briefcase on his backpack. They are accompanied by tracked Snowcat tractors which are carrying the heavy gear.
