A distant port bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the Indian Navy light cruiser Delhi (1932) alongside a quay in Bombay Dockyard with the fleet tug Gaj (1972) alongside her. Both ships have awnings rigged and their pendant numbers are C74 and A51 respectively. In the distance is the survey vessel Sutlej (1940) outboard of another similar sized ship. On the inside of the quay abreast the Delhi (1932) is the missile corvette Vijaydurg (1976). In the left foreground is the stern of the harbour passenger ferry Mouminabad, number B6895. The photographer is in a motor launch in the harbour.
