A general view of the lines of warships anchored at Spithead for the Nato 20th Anniversary Review. The photographer is on board the Royal Navy Type 15 frigate Wakeful (1943) and he is looking north-west from the eastern end of the review lines showing the Royal Yacht Britannia (1953) passing between lines C and D followed by the Belgian command ship Zinnia (1967) on the right. At the head of line C is the Italian guided missile cruiser Andrea Doria (1963). The ships are dressed overall.
