An aerial view of the town of Aalesund and the Aspevaagen in Norway, taken from Aksla Hill looking west towards the island of Heissa. On the south side of the town at the Storneskaia are the passenger cruiser liner Lancastria (1922), a passenger/cargo ship and a local passenger/cargo ferry. In the left foreground, berthed stern-on to the shore, is the salvage vessel Ula (1912).
