Diving boys in open boats in the north harbour of Algiers looking north-west at the waterfront. The boys are wearing swimming trunks and are in five boats, two of which are named Louisette Bebert and Petite Reike. One has the registration ALG2255. The boys will dive into the harbour to retrieve objects, mainly coins, thrown by passengers on the cruise liners. To the right of centre is the lift tower from the waterfront up to the upper road, which is backed by a row of four and five storey buildings.
