On board a passenger cruise ship entering the harbour at Algiers.

On board a passenger cruise liner passing the breakwater lighthouse on entering the harbour at Algiers. Alongside a quay on the left is the Svenska Lloyd general cargo ship Dahlia (1907) with tarpaulin hatch covers tented over her open holds. She is seen from off her starboard beam and her stern is out of the picture. The building at the back of the quay has Etablissements Frederic Lung on it. One of the buildings on the upper roadway is the Hotel Aletti. A vertical format negative that is beginning to reticulate.
