The photographer is on the starboard side of the promenade deck aft looking forward and to starboard showing passengers looking over the starboard rail at the jungle lined shore. Lifeboats13 and 15A are in their davits and motor lifeboat 15 is swung out. The precise location in the Amazon is unknown.
