A small settlement on the bank of the River Amazon, taken from on board the Swedish passenger cruise ship Kungsholm (1928) during a cruise on the River Amazon. The passenger/cargo river steamer Santa Maria (1910), seen from off her port side, and a smaller unidentified motor vessel are moored alongside the landing stage of the settlement. An unidentified steam tug, seen from off her port bow, is under way in the river. The precise location in the Amazon is unknown.
