The seaward end of the Aquatic Club pier in Carlisle Bay, Bridgetown, Barbados, showing the pavilion on the pierhead, taken from the shore. Rowing boats containing divers are alongside the end of the pierwaiting for tourists to throw coins into the water for them to dive and retrieve. A single masted sloop rigged dinghy is under sail and a man in the water is hanging on to its transom. In the background and seen from fine off her starboard bow is the passenger and cruise ship Kungsholm (1928).
