Study of a destroyer passing through a smoke-screen, laid by another vessel or float
This appears to be a study of a destroyer emerging through a smoke screen, being laid by the small vessel or float to the right, presumably as part of an exercise. The ship could be any one of the three-funnelled 'L', 'M', 'Repeat M' or 'R' classes
