Looking east over the town and harbour of St. George's, Bermuda.

Looking east over the town and harbour of St. George's, Bermuda. The photographer is looking from an elevated vantage point showing the buildings on the north side of the harbour, including one identified as "The Linen Shop". In the background near the harbour entrance is the wreck of a 3 masted iron ship or barque rigged vessel. She still has her foremast with three yards fitted, her lower mainmast and her mizzen mast with a gaff. The name of the vessel has not been traced but the wreck is still (2018) in situ, although the masts are gone.
