Looking south-west along the Municipal Pier and Adderley Street at Cape Town, South Africa. The photographer is at the top of the tower on the end of the pier. The pier was opened 21 November 1913 and was demolished in late 1939 to make way for land reclamation to provide Berths E to L for Duncan Dock.
