Two sampans and a single masted junk off Hong Kong.
A starboard side view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the sampan B5686Y being sculled close alongside a passenger cruise ship off Hong Kong. The photographer is looking down on the craft from the deck of the cruise ship. A woman with a small child on her back is helping another person to do the sculling while two men are each holding a long handled cone net. One of the men is holding his net in a near vertical position. Another sampan and a single masted junk are in the background. This negative was taken during a world cruise by the Cunard Line ship Franconia (1923).
