Finger piers at the western end of the docks at Kingston, Jamaica. The photographer is on board a passenger cruise ship in the harbour at the foot of King Street looking north-north-west. Directly ahead of the ship is a statue of Lord Horatio Nelson on the harbour road facing King Street. In the centre is a pier with Frederick Leyland & Co Ltd on it. In the background to the right of centre is the tower of the Church of St Thomas the Apostle.
