Wharves and storage sheds at Kingston, Jamaica.
Wharves and storage sheds at Kingston, Jamaica. The photographer is on board a passenger cruise ship looking towards the shore showing various timber and corrugated iron construction sheds. A shed on the left has "D. Henderson & Co" on it and stacks of sawn timber are on the adjoining wharf. Behind this wharf is a large store with "Jamaica Fruit & Shipping Co. Ltd." on it. A sign on the building on the right reads "Visitors are invited to call at the Tourist Bureau 78-80 Harbour St.". A fruit ship equipped with hull loading doors is alongside the jetty on the extreme right. The palm trees indicate that it is a breezy day.
