Diving boys in rowing boats close alongside a passenger cruise ship in the anchorage at Funchal, Madeira.
Diving boys in rowing boats close alongside a passenger cruise ship in the anchorage at Funchal, Madeira. The photographer is in a boat looking at a rowing boat with a man at the oars and another man standing in the stern holding up a small boy before throwing him into the sea (see negative number P92924 for the negative taken seconds later when the boy is being thrown in). Another boat A2310B has a swimmer holding onto its starboard bow. The negative has a poor depth of field and the land in the background is out of focus.
