A local man in bare feet carrying a stack of three cone shaped fish traps on Barriera (Quarry) Wharf, Valletta, Malta. He is carrying them over his head and each trap is about five feet long. The photographer is standing on the narrow west end of the wharf looking east-by-north. Dghaisas are moored to the quayside and the Lower Barracca Gardens are in the background.
