On board a Canadian Pacific Steamships passenger cruise ship of the Duchess class (1928) leaving Miami, Florida. The ship is one of Duchess of Atholl (1928), Duchess of Bedford (1928) or Duchess of Richmond (1928) and the photographer is on the centreline of the poop looking forward and to port showing many of the passengers and crew lining the rails. Two passengers are standing on a stack of liferafts on the boat deck. The County Causeway is on the left.
