The west side of the old harbour at Palma, Majorca. The photographer is looking west-by-north showing the Hotel Mediterraneo and the Hotel Villa Victoria in the centre and on the hilltop in the background is the Castell De Bellver. A fishing boat, seen from off her starboard side just abaft the beam, is under sail in the foreground. She has a crew of three and has a forward sloping mast with a traingular sail set between the top of her foremast and the end of the bowsprit, a lateen sail on the foremast and a triangular sail set between the top of her vertical aft mast and a boom over the stern.
