On board an Orient Line passenger cruise ship anchored off the harbour at Palma, Majorca. The photographer is looking forward from the forward end of the starboard promenade deck showing number 1 lifeboat under her davits, the starboard side sampson post and the foredeck of the ship. She is wearing a bordered union flag at the jackstaff. None of the buildings on shore are identifiable and the coastal hills are backed by a mountain range.
