On board the Swedish passenger cruise ship Gripsholm (1925) in the Pedro Miguel Locks on the Panama Canal. The photographer is on the port side of at the aft end of the upper promenade deck looking aft showing some passengers on the aft navigating bridge wing as the ship heads south through the west lock heading for the Miraflores Lake. The ship is connected to a mule on the top of the lock and another three mules are waiting their turn for duty on the east lock. The negative is incorrectly captioned Miraflores Locks.
