Gatun Locks on the Panama Canal.

Gatun Locks on the Panama Canal. The photographer is looking across the east centre chamber from the east side of the locks showing the control tower in between the east and west locks. A mule is on the slope between the lower and centre chambers and a number of tourists are by the control tower. The lighthouse on the west side of the locks is in the background, partly obscured by a concrete lighting column.
