The Belgian cargo liner Carlier (1915) in Gatun Locks on the Panama Canal.
A bow view of the Belgian cargo liner Carlier (1915) in the centre east chamber of the Gatun Locks on the Panama Canal. The photographer is looking north from the lock gates of the upper chamber as the ship is being raised to the next level. Her port anchor is hanging down from its hawse and the top of her foremast is out of the picture. Her hull paintwork is badly rust streaked.
