A close view of the starboard of the superstructure of the Swedish passenger cruise ship Gripsholm (1925) at Panama.
A close view of the starboard side of the superstructure of the Swedish passenger cruise ship Gripsholm (1925) alongside a quay at Panama. The photographer is close alongside the ship on the quayside looking up and aft. The ship is dressed overall and is depicted in all white livery with the modifications to the promenade decks enclosures that were made prior to the start of the 1937 cruising season. A railway carriage is in the foreground and the steelwork structure on the front of the quayside warehouse is on the left. It is not known if the ship is at Cristobal at the north end of the canal or at Balboa at the south end.
