The Japanese cargo liner Noto Maru (1934) in the Pedro Miguel locks on the Panama Canal.
A slightly distant port bow view of the Japanese cargo liner Noto Maru (1934) leaving the west chamber of the Pedro Miguel Locks on the Panama Canal, heading south. The photographer is on board an unidentified passenger cruise ship, looking forward from the forward end of the port side of the promenade deck while approaching the east chamber of the locks heading north. The lock gates are open. Another vessel is on the north side of the locks waiting to enter the west chamber.
