A port broadside view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orion (1935) at anchor in a Norwegian fjord.
A port broadside view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orion (1935) at anchor in a Norwegian fjord. She has both anchors deployed and an accommodation ladder is rigged to the main deck aft, with a ship's boat and local craft alongside it. The ship's forecastle and forward rails are lined with passengers and crew watching the regatta activity on the water. Three of the ship's boats, manned almost entirely by passengers, are engaged in a race and the oars of one can be seen on the extreme left of the photograph. Negatives numbers P84420 to P84439 inclusive were taken on the same occasion.
